LUDHIANA: Unidentified miscreants struck near Sirhind Canal and looted a truck loaded with maize on Tuesday night. Truck driving force Amarjeet Lal of Nawanshahar knowledgeable law enforcement officials after he controlled to open the ropes, with which he was allegedly tied up through the miscreants.
The driving force advised law enforcement officials he had loaded maize luggage from Banga in Nawanshahar district, and was going to Kaklrala Khurd to supply them at a poultry farm. On the way, his truck’s rear tyre were given punctured, and then he drove the truck towards Sirhind Canal. But after a ways, the second one tyre also went flat, and then he parked the truck on the roadside.
Meanwhile, a canter with many individuals in it stopped near him, tied him up, and ran away with 260 maize luggage, he alleged, adding that some onlookers later opened his ropes, and he knowledgeable Machiwara police. Officiating DSP (Samrala) Ranjeet Singh said they'd registered a case below Section 382 at Machiwara police station on Wednesday.
