'Online' system developed for schools attendance

HYDERABAD: The Telangana State Technology Services (TSTS), a state government-owned corporate, has developed a unique gadget wherein attendance in colleges and others may also be monitored on a real-time foundation.
As in step with the gadget, gadgets like swiping machines are installed in colleges or offices and a four-digit Aadhar quantity and biometrics are captured, a senior official of TSTS told PTI.

The gadgets are provided with net connectivity and as soon as the four-digit Aadhar quantity and biometrics are entered, they (gadgets) be in contact with servers and a (authentication) response comes again in about not up to 4 seconds, he mentioned.

The attendance data may also be accessed on dashboards at more than one ranges -- via the Head Master of the school or institution, the district-level schooling officer (for his space) and the Head of department in Hyderabad (across the state), he mentioned.


The dashboard is either on a PC or a pc, he mentioned.


"Real time. Every minute you will see how many have cleared the attendance... like that," he mentioned.


The gadget works as in step with set requirements in the space.


It has been effectively tried earlier and the schooling department is anticipated roll out the mission in about 10,000 colleges in the state, the official added.
