BHUBANESWAR: The failure of the state police in arresting a bunch of uncouth servitors, who allegedly attacked a Thane-based IT professional and his spouse at Jagannath temple in Puri on May 20, has brought on huge trolling on social media. Such complaint poured in huge numbers after Amolkar launched a marketing campaign on Thursday on social media, in search of motion against the erring servitors and highlighting alleged police inactiveness. Amolkar said until the accused are arrested, he would write to the president and top minister of India, in search of justice.


Singhadwar police station’s inspector-in-charge Gokula Ranjan Das said the accused are on the run. “We got here to know in regards to the involvement of 2 servitors at the back of the offence. We have identified two servitors, who're on the run. Raids are being performed to arrest them,” Das advised TOI.
