MYSURU: Many parts of the district received heavy rainfall on Saturday night. Kadakola area of the city received 93mm.
Even though it was a sunny day till 2pm, it all started raining round four.15pm within the town. As the rain was accompanied by means of strong wind, energy provide was disrupted in different areas of the city.
Water clogging was reported from areas like Agrahara Circle, KR Circle and Chamundipuram. The MCC helpline received several lawsuits similar to drain overflow and waterlogging.
According to the Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) assets, heavy rain was reported from across the district. 81 mm rainfall was reported from T Narasipura whilst Vajamangala received 76 mm.
Heavy rain lashed all the districts of south internal Karnataka. The absolute best rainfall was reported from Malavalli, which received 92 mm till 6pm. Anaveri of Shivamogga district received 82 mm rainfall.
