MUMBAI: Pre-monsoon showers coupled with gusty winds lashed a number of parts of town and its neighboring spaces like Thane, Kalyan and Dombilvi on Saturday evening. Parts of Mumbai like Borivali, Goregoan, Kandivali, Mulund and Powai too gained showers. Weathermen referred to as this as the typical monsoon development with the rains already having reached up to Karnataka.
While the standard onset of monsoons over Mumbai is June 10 however the India Meteorological Department officers have hinted against an earlier arrival this 12 months. Conditions are favorable for the monsoons to set over Maharashtra coast through the coming week, IMD officers have stated.

This is a typical monsoon phenomenon."
