HYDERABAD: Managing spouse of Shades Paints Shop in Ranigunj house of Secunderabad was arrested on Tuesday via the Mahankali police on the subject of the fire mishap befell on the paints store godown on June 8.
The accused, Kalpesh Bhogani (44), had stocked the paints and varnish in unauthorised premises containing highly inflammable in the building with out taking any precautionary measures, endangering to the lives and houses of others.
On June 8, at round five.40 pm, a fireplace broke out in the godown because of electrical short-circuit whilst mixing paints, with out taking any precautionary measures.
According to police, it took more than two days to keep watch over the fire and as a result of the mishap, nearby retail outlets were also suffered severe damages.
The accused was booked underneath segment 336 (Act endangering existence or personal protection of others), 285 (Negligent conduct with respect to fire or combustible subject), 286 (Negligent conduct with respect to explosive substance) of IPC in conjunction with segment nine (B) (1) (b) of Explosives Act, 1884 and segment 4 of Explosive Substance Act-1908.
