'Separating children from parents at US border unconscionable'

GENEVA: The UN human rights leader on Monday recommended Washington to forestall separating migrant youngsters from their oldsters at america border, describing the policy as "unconscionable".


"The thought that any state would seek to deter parents by inflicting such abuse on children is unconscionable," Zeid Ra'advert Al Hussein said as he opened a session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva.
