SAN FRANCISCO: Tesla Inc leader government Elon Musk accused an worker of "extensive and damaging sabotage" to the company's operations in an e mail sent on Monday to company workers.
Musk said an worker had made code changes to the company's running gadget and exported "large amounts of highly sensitive Tesla data to unknown third parties," in keeping with the e-mail, which used to be got via Reuters.

The company is investigating whether or not the employee "was working with any outside organizations," the e-mail said.

"As you know, there are a long list of organizations that want Tesla to die," Musk wrote, list Wall Street short-sellers, oil and gasoline firms, and automobile company competitors.

An organization spokeswoman didn't reply to requests for comment.


The accusations of sabotage come per week after Musk announced layoffs for 9 percent of the company's team of workers. Although Musk said the reorganization does not have an effect on production associates and is not expected to extend manufacturing objectives, hundreds of workers lost their jobs.


Tesla has struggled to ramp up production of its Model 3 sedan, which is meant for mass production and demanding to helping the company succeed in long-term profitability.


Tesla's inventory price slipped 53 cents to $370.30 in after-hours trading.
