AHMEDABAD: Anuja Shah, the daughter of outstanding city-based legal professional Sudhir Nanavati, filed an FIR with Vastrapur police station pointing out that she used to be assaulted by a brother-sister duo within the Vastrapur on Friday evening.
Police nabbed probably the most accused, Harshad Thakor (21), a resident of Ranujanagar house near Satellite. His sister, Sangita Thakor (24), had not been arrested until Saturday evening. Vastrapur police officials said the duo have also submitted an software to resort a grievance against Shah.
Shah’s FIR states, “I began from GLS University in Law Garden house against my place of abode in my car on Friday evening. I was slowly taking a left turn from Mansi Circle when an unknown adolescence and a lady on a two-wheeler beside me got off. Nanavati said he accompanied his daughter to resort the FIR. “A lone girl being attacked in extensive daylight like it is a serious issue. I accompanied my daughter when the FIR used to be lodged,” Nanavati said.
Vastrapur police registered a case under IPC sections 294(b) (uttering obscene words), 323 (voluntarily inflicting harm), 114 (abetting a crime) and 506 (1) (criminal intimidation).
