HYDERABAD: Cloud overcast accompanied with light to reasonable rain in remoted spaces brought down the maximum temperature in the town down by 8 degrees, to 30.7 degrees Celsius on Saturday. According to the Telangana State Development and Planning Society (TSDPS), whilst many spaces simplest had an overcast sky, places along the western corridor such as Serilingampally, Patancheruvu, Kukatpally won rainfall of as much as 3 cm inside of a span of a few hours.
Areas beneath Rangareddy district such as Shankarpalle, Chevella, Moinabad, Shamshabad, Hayathnagar also won light to reasonable rainfall.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Hyderabad officers attributed the cloud overcast and light-weight rainfall to thunderstorm job in the town. “In the past few days, the maximum temperature has hovered above 40 level Celsius resulting in thunderstorm job,” said Raja Rao, IMD meteorologist.
The depth of rainfall was a lot upper in eastern and southern districts of Telangana. According to the TSDPS, few spaces in Vikarabad, Peddapalle, Medak, Jayashankar-Bhupalpalli, Mancherial and Nagakurnool experiencing heavy rainfall.
Highest rainfall of eight.83cm was recorded in Ainole in Nagarkurnool followed by 7.85cm in Kataram in Jayashankar-Bhupalpalli, 7.64cm in Manthani in Peddapalli district, 6.60cm in Kannaigudem in Jayashankar-Bhupalpalli, 6.82cm in Eturunagaram in Jayashankar-Bhupalpalli to name a few.
As per the predictions of personal weather forecasting companies, cyclonic circulation may lead to an advancement of the southwest monsoon in the Telangana region. “Warm and wet air mass may be strengthening over the state. Hence, rain depth is expected to increase during subsequent 24-48 hours. Light to reasonable rains will affect the state, which is likely to result in significant fall in day temperatures and build up in humidity levels. The extensive clouding will even build up,” stated a Skymet record.
IMD, Hyderabad has also issued a thunderstorm accompanied with gusty winds caution for all districts for the next two days. “The southwest monsoon will due to this fact cover parts of Telangana by June five,” said Naga Ratna, head of forecasting at IMD, Hyderabad.
