SRINAGAR: Suspected terrorists on Thursday snatched a rifle from a CRPF constable at GRP barracks, about 400 metres from Sadura raiway station in South Kashmir's Anantnag district, officers stated.
The men pelted stones at the constable and a gunshot was once heard, they stated, adding further details had been awaited.
However, native police stated there was once no file of any firing.
