T'gana: 3 armed extremists arrested in Khammam

HYDERABAD: Three armed extremists, who allegedly indulged in extortion, had been arrested in Telangana's Khammam district, police stated.

Prime accused Boda Bheemudu alias Sudhakar, keeping up a Dalam (unit) below the name of 'Sudhakar Dalam CPI(ML) New Democracy Party' and working in Gundala and Allapally of the district, used to be arrested along side two members of his workforce, Khammam police commissioner Tafseer Iqbal told .


Since the ultimate seven years, Sudhakar and his Dalam members had allegedly been extorting cash from businessmen, contractors and also threatening government officials,he stated.


Besides, Sudhakar allegedly indulged in exchange of fireplace, homicide and rioting, the commissioner stated. A police team, carrying out a vehicle-check at Jujjularaopet, nabbed Sudhakar, T Hanumantharao and Ok Suresh while they had been going to Gundala forest house, he stated.


B Macchu, who supplied safe haven to them, despite the fact that he knew that they had been offenders, used to be additionally arrested, he stated.


A .32 mm revolver, two live rounds and a diary and a few papers in relation to businessmen and contractors, touch numbers, details of extorted quantity and modern literature had been seized from Sudhakar, he added.
