COIMBATORE: A 40-year-old businessman used to be abducted from his workplace at Papanaickenpalayam in Coimbatore through a gang on Thursday. Police suspect the person’s business spouse used to be behind the abduction since there used to be a monetary dispute between them.
Police mentioned a six-member gang entered Johnco Federal’s workplace within the afternoon and demanded money from him. Johnco, a native of Nagercoil, is doing real property business here.
When he refused to pay them money, the crowd contributors abducted him at knifepoint after smashing the glass doorways within the workplace.
Police got footage from a CCTV digicam. One of the 2 vehicles used by the crowd used to be later noticed close to Edappadi.
The Race Course police were investigating.
