Udupi dist admin responsible for cattle trader’s death: VHP

Udupi: Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Sharan Pumpwell, on Tuesday, wondered the police on the legality of reserving a homicide case underneath IPC Section 302 (punishment for homicide), even prior to getting the post-mortem record in the demise of livestock trader Hussainabba at Peradoor.
Sharan alleged that the Udupi district administration was without delay answerable for the demise of Hussainabba. He stated, “We were urging the district administration and the police to do so in opposition to unlawful transportation of livestock, but they have got failed to act in this regard. Hence, they are answerable for the demise.”

“In this situation, the police failed to get any weapon used for the alleged homicide, and Hussainabba had no external injury marks on his body. This proves that he was now not assaulted. In this situation, why are our activists being booked for homicide? A total 10 other people including a VHP leader, Bajrang Dal activists and three policemen were arrested thus far, in reference to this situation, and lots of blameless activists were confused in the name of this homicide,” he stated.

“The police really well know that Hussainabba died due to cardiac arrest, and he had undergone center bypass surgical procedure twice, but regardless of this, homicide charges have been levelled in opposition to Hindu activists. Hence, we call for an inquiry into this situation on the perfect degree. The coastal district is getting more susceptible on the livestock issue. Many such crimes keep taking place right here. We asked the government and police department to take strict action on this issue. However, the district administration has completely failed in this regard. We call for that the police shape a different team to regulate unlawful trafficking of livestock,” he demanded.

“Cattle have been stolen from Shirooru Mutt and from a livestock shed at Hebri, but the police did not anything to prevent the perpetrators in this regard. Our activists have a clear thought about who's thinking about these unlawful activities, and tell the police many a time, alternatively they take no action. Hence, our activists are compelled to get into the field to protest in opposition to such unlawful activities. The Bajrang Dal never indulges in violence, and we aren't encouraging murders. The Cow is like God for Hindus, and protecting it is our accountability,” he stated

“In DK and Udupi, only one slaughterhouse works legally in Kudroli in Mangaluru, and 10-12 livestock are killed right here each day. However, the twin districts have greater than 3,000 beef stalls in line with an RTI question. In that case, from where do they get the beef for this type of huge number of stalls ? This clearly indicates that unlawful slaughterhouses are functioning all over the state. More than the police, our activists have wisdom about it, and we keep informing the police on the issue. The similar took place in this case too,” he stated.

On Wednesday, so as to oppose the arrest of Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) activists, an enormous protest is been organized in entrance of DC’s place of job, Manipal, by way of the BJP. Bajrang Dal and VHP activists will beef up the BJP in this protest.
