Udupi district administration responsible for cattle trader’s death: VHP

UDUPI: Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) chief Sharan Pumpwell, on Tuesday, questioned the police at the legality of booking a murder case underneath IPC Section 302 (punishment for murder), even sooner than getting the post-mortem document within the demise of livestock trader Hussainabba at Peradoor.
Sharan alleged that the Udupi district administration was once directly liable for the demise of Hussainabba. He stated, “We were urging the district administration and the police to take action towards unlawful transportation of livestock, but they have got did not act on this regard. Hence, they are liable for the demise.”

“In this case, the police did not get any weapon used for the alleged murder, and Hussainabba had no exterior damage marks on his body. This proves that he was once not assaulted. In this scenario, why are our activists being booked for murder? A complete 10 people together with a VHP chief, Bajrang Dal activists and three policemen were arrested thus far, in reference to this case, and lots of innocent activists were careworn within the name of this murder,” he stated.

“The police very well know that Hussainabba died due to cardiac arrest, and he had undergone heart bypass surgical operation two times, but despite this, murder fees had been levelled towards Hindu activists. Hence, we call for an inquiry into this case at the perfect stage. The coastal district is getting extra vulnerable at the livestock factor. Many such crimes keep happening here. We asked the federal government and police division to take strict action in this factor. However, the district administration has totally failed on this regard. We call for that the police form a special team to control unlawful trafficking of livestock,” he demanded.

“Cattle had been stolen from Shirooru Mutt and from a livestock shed at Hebri, however the police did nothing to prevent the perpetrators on this regard. Our activists have a clear concept about who's serious about those unlawful actions, and inform the police many a time, then again they take no action. Hence, our activists are forced to get into the field to protest towards such unlawful actions. The Bajrang Dal never indulges in violence, and we don't seem to be encouraging murders. The Cow is like God for Hindus, and protecting it's our duty,” he stated

“In DK and Udupi, just one slaughterhouse works legally in Kudroli in Mangaluru, and 10-12 livestock are killed here each day. However, the dual districts have more than 3,000 beef stalls in keeping with an RTI question. In that case, from where do they get the meat for this kind of massive number of stalls ? This obviously indicates that unlawful slaughterhouses are functioning right through the state. More than the police, our activists have knowledge about it, and we keep informing the police at the factor. The same took place on this case too,” he stated.

On Wednesday, so as to oppose the arrest of Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) activists, a huge protest is been organized in entrance of DC’s place of work, Manipal, by means of the BJP. Bajrang Dal and VHP activists will make stronger the BJP on this protest.
