LUDHIANA: A group thrashed a 60-year-old guy to demise after his pick-up van hit a three-year-old lady in EWS Colony on Tajpur Road on Monday night time. The colony citizens additionally vandalised the van of Rampal Sharma, a resident of Sanjay Gandhi Colony.

Naresh Kumar, brother of Rampal, stated once they reached the spot, they discovered the automobile vandalized. “Cops had been standing in conjunction with the accused. On seeing Rampal, the colony citizens started arguing with him. Some of them beat him up and attacked him with iron rods. We rushed him to a personal medical institution on Brown Road, the place medical doctors declared him introduced lifeless,” Naresh added.
