Why hasn't L-G met CM: AAP on 4th day of sit-in

NEW DELHI: As Delhi leader minister Arvind Kejriwal and his three ministers continued their sit-in at the L-G office since Monday, the AAP on Thursday attacked Lt Governor Anil Baijal, wondering whether he did not have even "four minutes" to fulfill them within the last 4 days.
Addressing a press convention, Rajya Sabha MP and senior AAP chief Sanjay Singh alleged that no person was once being allowed to fulfill the manager minister right through his sit-in at the L-G Secretariat and asked if he were arrested.

Kejriwal and his three cupboard colleagues - Manish Sisodia, Gopal Rai and Satyendar Jain - have stayed put at the L-G's office since Monday night over their demands, including a course to officials to finish their "strike" and motion in opposition to those who have struck paintings. They also want the L-G to approve the proposal for doorstep supply of ration.

Singh alleged the "strike" by means of IAS officials was once "at the behest of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and under the protection of Lt Governor Anil Baijal".

"The chief minister has been staging sit-in at the L-G Secretariat for the last four days. We want to ask whether he (Baijal) could not spare even four minutes to meet him in the last four days," Singh instructed journalists.

"I fail to grasp as to why no person is being allowed to fulfill the manager minister.

"I and his (Kejriwal's) brother sought after to fulfill the CM, but permission was once denied. L-G and Delhi Police should make it clear whether he has been put below space arrest, or if he has been arrested," the Rajya Sabha MP asked.

He mentioned that the birthday celebration has sought an appointment with President Ram Nath Kovind, Union home minister Rajnath Singh and Lt Governor Anil Baijal over the IAS officials' strike factor.

However, the IAS officials' association has claimed that no officer has been on strike and no paintings has been affected.

Earlier within the day, Kejriwal wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi looking for his intervention to finish the IAS officials' "strike" claiming that the Lt Governor was once doing "not anything" to break the impasse.

In his letter to Modi, the manager minister cited instances when government paintings was once stalled as the officials were not attending meetings with ministers for the past three months.

The AAP Government and the paperwork have been at loggerheads because the alleged assault on Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash by means of AAP MLAs at Kejriwal's residence in February.
