Coimbatore: The State Lorry Owner’s Federation (SLOF) will take part within the indefinite strike known as by the All India Motor Transport Congress from July 20 not easy relief in gasoline value, 3rd party top class insurance and toll charge.
Over 4.five lakh trucks will keep off the roads in Tamil Nadu, state president of the federation MR Kumarasamy stated here on Saturday. “The income loss shall be as top as Rs 300 crore to Rs 400 crore an afternoon. We is not going to withdraw the strike until the Central govt fulfils our demands. Several other unions including automobiles, mini lorry and van have lengthen their make stronger to the strike,” he stated.
The reserving agent affiliation will prevent taking orders from July 15, Kumarasamy stated and asked the public to not use cars for 12 hours from 6am on July 22 in order to lengthen their make stronger. The strike isn't just for the welfare of the lorry homeowners, but in addition for the welfare of the public, he stated, not easy that the Central govt should bring diesel underneath the slab of products and service tax (GST).
The govt should take measures to close all toll plazas and take a look at the rise in insurance top class, he added.
