Bengaluru army cops ride to Kargil

BENGALURU: As a part of Kargil Vijay Diwas celebrations, 'Shet Ashw', the bike show group of Corps of Military police, went on a motorcycle expedition from Bengaluru on Monday morning.

The group will go back and forth 3250km across eight states sooner than they reach Kargil on July 24. A total of 5 highly skilled riders of the group are participating within the expedition which incorporates Lieutenant Colonel Vikram Rajebhosale and four others from the Corps of Military Police. They would experience the newly introduced 200 cc TVS Apache RTR.

The above distance will likely be covered over a length of 20 days all through which the group would traverse across the period of the rustic from Bengaluru to Kargil and canopy towns corresponding to Belgaum, Pune, Mumbai, Vadodara, Udaipur, Nasirabad, New Delhi, Chandigarh, Manali, Sarchu and Leh.

The goal of the expedition is to strengthen the brotherhood, pay homage to the ideally suited sacrifices made by our martyrs all through the Kargil War and toughen the image of the Indian Army to encourage the youth to join this elite organisation, said a defence press unencumber.
