KOLKATA: Deceased three-yearold Faizal Ali’s oldsters, who had alleged their kid’s eyes had been gouged out after his dying at SSKM Hospital on July 10, demanded on Saturday that their son’s body be exhumed for a radical investigation.
They urged the police, with whom they've lodged a criticism, to analyze why Faizal’s eyeballs had been lacking after his body was once handed to them after the post-mortem, though they'd reportedly seen no injury to the eyes on the time of his dying. The post-mortem report is but to achieve them. “We only need to find out the reality. Faizal’s eyelids had been stitched when his body was once handed over to us after the postmortem. Since there was once no injury both to his face or near the eyes, we suspect one thing was once incorrect. When we opened the stitches, we discovered that eyeballs lacking,” said Faizal’s father Feroz Ali.
On July eight, Faizal was once playing near his house at Kamarhati, when he was once hit by a automotive and gained accidents on his chest and the back of his head. He was once taken to Sagar Datta Medical College after which shifted to SSKM on July nine. He died at SSKM a day later.
The circle of relatives claimed to have contacted the clinic, which it appears did not get a hold of a clear clarification. Feroz and his brother, Azad Ali, took photos of the boy’s eyes and showed it to local docs. “All of them said as there was once no primary injury across the eyes, there was once no explanation why for them to be stitched or the eyeballs to move lacking. If important, the body should be exhumed and some other post-mortem done,” said Azad. SSKM government on Saturday refused to remark.
