AHMEDABAD: One part of the engineering faculties in the state have been unable to fill even 50% of their consumption capability. Over 17% of the 140-odd engineering faculties in the state have no longer been ready to fill 10% of their seats.



On Thursday, the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) declared allocation of admissions for engineering courses in state faculties. Of the 55,422 seats to be had, greater than 42% have remained vacant. ACPC officers mentioned that of the 39,739 scholars who registered, just 35,222 took part in the admissions procedure and most effective 31,934 had been allocated seats.
