Karnataka doctor leaves needle in jaw; woman goes to cops

In a atypical turn of events, a dentist has reportedly forgotten to take away a surgical needle from a patient’s mouth in Dharwad lately. Interestingly, the patient too is a dentist.

According to reviews, Dr Sarika visited another dentist Dr Vinayak Mahendrakar at a personal health facility on SP Road in Dharwad.

After the preliminary course of treatment, Sarika advanced heavy ache on her jaws, forcing her to take an X-ray in other health facility. To her horror Sarika discovered a tiny needle which was left in the back of by way of Mahendrakar in her mouth.

When Sarika approached Dr Mahendrakar and complained about the similar, the latter did not show any remorse and slightly casually stated it may be got rid of easily. Sarika was requested to return day after today.

When Sarika visited the health facility day after today, Mahendrakar was nowhere to be noticed. Furious, Sarika lodged a criticism against Mahendrakar.

A police officer instructed BM, “The lady physician registered a criticism against Mahendrakar. Later, ACP called each medical doctors and requested them to arrive at a compromise. Sarika had best demnd that needle should be got rid of. Mahendrakar later agreed to have the needle got rid of. No criticism has been registered against the dentist.”
