GURUGRAM: GMDA will convert the four-lane Shankar Road into six lanes. The road, which connects NH-Eight with Old Delhi Gurugram Road at Dundahera, has noticed an increase in vehicular visitors over the years.
According to officials, the feasibility to convert the road into six lanes has been ascertained but it will take just about a year to do the work. “Shankar Road is likely one of the choke points in the city and the visitors load here is growing, on a daily basis. So, we now have decided to widen this road the entire manner from Shankar Chowk until its end at Dundahera.
