Bumrah had suffered an injury to his left thumb all through India's first T20I in opposition to Ireland in Dublin and was ruled out of the continuing T20I collection in opposition to England.

The 24-year-old seamer underwent a surgical treatment closing Wednesday in Leeds ahead of returning to India. The surgical treatment was a hit and he's going to begin rehabilitation underneath the supervision of the BCCI Medical Team.

"The All-India Senior Selection Committee has named Shardul Thakur as Jasprit Bumrah's replacement in India's ODI squad," BCCI Acting Secretary Amitabh Choudhary stated in a unlock.

The first ODI starts on July 12 at Nottingham, followed via the second match at London on July 14 and 3rd match at Leeds on July 17.

However, surgical treatment followed via restoration and resumption of training may take time and he's going to certainly be a doubtful starter so far as the Test collection is anxious. The first Test will get started from August 1 in Birmingham.
