NEW DELHI: Sonia Gandhi nowadays lashed out at the Narendra Modi govt, announcing the folk of the country must be rescued from a "dangerous regime" that is "compromising" with India's democracy.
In her address to the newly-constituted Congress Working Committee, which met for the primary time beneath the chairmanship of party leader Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi also cautioned the folk about the "reign of despair and fear" heaped upon India's disadvantaged and poor.
She stated the rhetoric of Prime Minister Narendra Modi shows his "desperation" reflecting that the "reverse countdown" of the Modi govt has begun.
"We are dedicated to make alliances work and we're all with Congress president Rahul Gandhi on this endeavour.
"We need to rescue our folks from a deadly regime that is compromising with the democracy of India," she stated.
