Woman stabbed to death by bro-in-law in Badarpur

NEW DELHI: A 17-year-old widow was allegedly stabbed to death via her brother-in-law and his accomplices in south east Delhi's Badarpur, police mentioned on Tuesday.
A PCR name about stabbing of a woman was received at Badarpur police station around 7.45 pm the day before today. A police workforce reached the spot at Tajpur Pahari in Badarpur and found the woman lying subconscious at the roof of her area with stab accidents.

She was rushed to Apollo Hospital where doctors declared her brought useless, mentioned Chinmoy Biswal, DCP (South East).


"The victim's mom and grandparents were present at the spot when the incident took place. In their remark to police, the members of the family alleged that the woman's brother-in-law, at the side of two others, had come to their area and stabbed her with a knife and fled the spot, the DCP mentioned.


The crime workforce inspected the spot and a case was registered, he mentioned.


Raids are being carried out in Faridabad and Delhi to apprehend the accused and his mates, the officer mentioned.


Ayush (19), the husband of the deceased, had allegedly dedicated suicide two months in the past. Since then, the victim was dwelling at her mom's position and had come to her grandparents' position just two days in the past.
