NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday launched “Swachhata Hi Seva” marketing campaign and even picked up a broom at a college named after Dalit icon B R Ambedkar as a part of “shram dan” for the movement which, he mentioned, would become lives around the country. Raising concern over the expanding era of municipal waste, the PM mentioned ‘swachhta’ is a dependancy that had to be inculcated.
