Cong-JDS used money, muscle power to win bypolls, claims Yeddyurappa

BENGALURU: The BJP Tuesday accused the Congress and the JD(S) of using money and muscle energy to win the bypolls in Karnataka, but stated it would introspect the outcome and improve the celebration sooner than the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

"The truth of the matter is that money and liquor had a bigger role in this election. Congress and JD(S) won the election using money and power," BJP state unit president B S Yeddyurappa stated.

The BJP gained the Shivamogga Lok Sabha seat + but misplaced Ballari to the Congress + , which also bagged the Jamkhandi meeting section.

Congress' coalition spouse JDS gained the Mandya Lok Sabha constituency and in Ramanagar, from the place Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy's wife Anitha was once elected.


Yeddyurappa claimed that the by-election results once again proved that the Congress and the JD(S) have been mavens in hatching conspiracies.

Congress's AS Nyamagouda gained the Jamkhandi meeting seat by means of a margin of 39480 votes. He gained against BJP's Srikant Kulkarni while as Anitha Kumaraswamy from the JD(S) gained the Ramanagaram meeting seat with a margin of 109137 votes. She gained against BJP's L Chandrashekar, who had pulled out of the contest but officially nonetheless remains the celebration candidate.


"We aren't keeping quiet after the defeat. We have misplaced handiest the Ballari Lok Sabha seat. We will introspect our efficiency so that we win the 2019 elections.


"There is unquestionably that we can win 22 to 23 Lok Sabha seats. I will be able to soon tour Karnataka," he stated.
