THANE: An undertrial was allegedly attacked by means of a fellow inmate with a pair of scissors over a petty issue at Central prison on Tuesday.
Mejabuddin Khan attacked Jafar Khan (25), who was given work within the tailoring department. He was at work at 1pm, humming a song, which the accused mistook for abuse. He yelled at him, following which the victim questioned him, said an officer. Later, Mejabuddin attacked the victim above his eyebrows.
