HUBBALLI: Hindu saints, pontiffs and seers have decided to back the BJP in the upcoming election and won't allow the Congress to return to power again at the Centre. BJP is the only party which respects the sentiments of Hindus and their efforts against the development of Ram Mandir are truthful, mentioned Mahamandeleshwar Akhileshwarnandgiri Swami of Jabbalpur.
He was addressing a large congregation of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and other right-wing organisations at Janagraha Sabha organised via the VHP hard the Union govt to build a Ram temple at the disputed site in Ayodhya, here on Sunday night.
The swami mentioned the BJP was doing its highest to put in force its promise earlier than the 2019 Lok Sabha elections and it is the Congress which is objecting the development of the temple. The Congress and its leaders haven't any loyalty against Hindus, he added.
He mentioned Ayodhya is the birthplace of Ram and “the temple should be constructed at the disputed land”. He also demanded the government to show political will to build the temple.
Basavanand Swami of Guru Basava Mahamane mentioned, “If the Union govt brings an ordinance to build Ram temple at the disputed site, no one will oppose it because the Lok Sabha elections are fast drawing near. If any party opposes, it's going to chunk the dust. It is the right time for the NDA govt to honour the sentiments of hundred crore Hindus via constructing the temple,” he mentioned. Later, the seers submitted a memorandum to MP Pralhad Joshi.
