Yet another Bandhan Bank employee looted

PATNA: Three unidentified armed criminals looted Rs71,000 from Bandhan Bank worker Ranjan Kumar (21) close to Bhikhanpur on NH-57 beneath the Ahiyapur police station space in Muzaffarpur district on Wednesday. Ranjan was returning by myself on his motorbike after collecting money from customers within the surrounding villages.

This was the second incident of loot from a Bandhan Bank worker within the state within 24 hours. On Tuesday, two unidentified armed criminals had looted Rs68,000 from two Bandhan Bank workers at Pothia beneath the Falka police station space in Katihar district. One of the employees, Mukesh Kumar Yadav (26), was shot lifeless all the way through the loot.


“Ranjan was on solution to his financial institution branch close to the BMP-6 premises when the criminals, on some other motorbike, got here from behind and driven him. He lost his stability and fell down. The criminals snatched the bag containing the money and sped away,” ASI Sunil Kumar Singh posted at Ahiyapur police station mentioned concerning the Wednesday incident.


He mentioned no CCTV camera was put in within the space the place the incident came about.


Giving main points of the Tuesday incident, Katihar Sadar SDPO Anil Kumar Singh mentioned Mukesh and his colleague Sajan Kumar Mandal (21) were returning to their branch on a motorbike after collecting money from customers in Falka space when two criminals standing on the roadside opened hearth at them. “Mukesh was riding the motorbike. A bullet hit Sajan and the duo fell down. The criminals looted the cash and sped away on the motorbike that they had parked there,” the SDPO mentioned, including the deceased was a collection agent of the financial institution. He mentioned no person was arrested in this connection.
