MANGALURU: Deputy Commissioner Sasikanth Senthil on Saturday announced that a land and housing scheme for nomadic, semi-nomadic, susceptible band more-vulnerable among SC/STs in Dakshina Kannada district can be implemented shortly. The income division and Dakshina Kannada zilla panchayat have collectively formulated an action plan on this regard.
In district stage meeting of committees for above population, safai karmacharis, district vigilance consciousness, particular part and tribal sub-plan and atrocities right here, Senthil also announced that taluk stage conferences can be held in January to deal with grievances of SC/ST neighborhood.
