MANDYA: Hours after the homicide of JD(S) worker H Prakash, round 40 JD(S) workers and supporters attacked the homes of Congress leaders in Toppanahalli. They destroyed the furnishings and tried to set fire to the homes the usage of petrol. The houses belonged to Congress leaders Devaraju, Muthuraju, Kumar and Patel Puttaswamy. The mob also damaged an autorickshaw parked in front of Puttaswamy’s house and the crop stored inside of. The girls ran outdoor to save lots of their lives.
The youths attacked Congress leader Kumar’s house round 8pm via crashing a tractor against the wall of his house. They later entered Devaraju’s house and destroyed the furnishings and the roof. The mob also burned the U.S.system in the home the usage of petrol.
