HYDERABAD: An eight-month-old child boy used to be kidnapped on Friday morning from Lalaguda railway station platform. His parents beg at the station.
The accused has been known as Ghouse, a beggar recognized to the circle of relatives.
"On Thursday, at around 8 pm, the infant's parents, Miraj and Srikanth Goud, left the station to buy toddy along with Ghouse. They came back later and consumed it together. Ghouse would frequently play with the baby, Eshwar, and so the family did not doubt his intentions," mentioned Secunderabad railway inspector Okay Adi Reddy.
The child used to be stolen when his parents have been drowsing. The CCTV footage of the platform captured the person wearing the baby and boarding an auto. "He was last traced near a bus stop in Secunderabad holding the baby boy. When passers-by saw the mother crying, they informed the police," he mentioned. A kidnapping case has been registered. Ghouse is absconding.
