Congress-JD(S) coalition will continue even after LS Polls: Hariprasad

MANGALURU: Senior Congress chief and Rajya Sabha MP B Ok Hariprasad mentioned here on Friday that the Congress-JD(S) coalition executive will continue even after the Lok Sabha election.


Hariprasad advised newshounds that there is no want of apprehension in regards to the lifestyles of Congress-JD(S) coalition after the Lok Sabha election. He mentioned Congress will fight the Lok Sabha election through Mahagathbandhan through becoming a member of hands with more than a few political events together with JD(S).


"Some leaders from the BJP are gripped by fear that they have been giving statements against Mahagathbhandhan. People have elected Congress in the recently concluded election and rejected BJP. Congress has proved its democratic values again," he mentioned.


On Ayodhya factor, Hariprasad mentioned the BJP recalls building of Ram Mandir when election nears. “This time the Ram Mandir factor is not going to help the BJP,” he added.


Later, at a celebration held to commemorate the 134th basis day of Indian National Congress, AICC secretary P C Vishnunath mentioned the Congress is the soul of the nation. "BJP leaders, who question the contributions of Congress, should recall the sacrifices made by leaders of Indian National Congress in the past 134 years. Making India a strong nation with developments taking place in science and technology and providing employment and education to people are the contributions of Congress," he added.
