LUDHIANA: The Ludhiana zonal unit of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) conducted a joint operation with the Army close to Line of Control (LOC) at Akhnoor in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday and recovered narcotics substances worth Rs 15 crore.
Friday's operation was conducted jointly by way of DRI along side BSF and Army and ended in recovery of 3 packets weighing approximately 1 kg every, containing heroin and a small packet containing approximately 50 gm of opium.
According to assets, the consignment was hidden approximately 250 meters inside of Indian territory and the operation was conducted on particular details about the contraband.
