Brahim Sabha Muktsar district president Jiwan Sharma said, "We have given memorandum to police to take action against the Congress MLA for hurting our religious sentiments and if police failed to take any action, we will hold protests against the MLA."

Muktsar SSP Manjit Singh Dhesi, when contacted said, "The Brahmin Sabha has handed over memorandum for action against the MLA and police are looking into it."
