MUMBAI: A 35-year-old conman from Surat in Gujarat has been arrested for fleeing with diamonds worth Rs 11.five lakh by posing as the landlord of a jewellery store within the shopping arcade of a five-star resort in South Mumbai.
Marine Drive police on Wednesday arrested Ashok Jiwani, who has at least 15 identical cases of dishonest and legal breach of believe in Mumbai and elsewhere in opposition to him.
Police stated they're additionally searching for his spouse in crime, Mahesh Mangukiya.
