BHUBANESWAR: The Crime Branch has advanced a standard running process (SOP) for the prevention and effective investigation of cases of child marriages.
The SOP, circulated to the commissionerate police and district superintendents of police (SPs), mandates law enforcement officials to immediately check in cases against those who inspire child marriage, and accumulate intelligence proper from the panchayat stage to forestall the observe.
