SURAT: An eight-year-old boy was killed when the autorickshaw he was travelling in together with other youngsters to college overturned in Pandesara space of town on Friday.
The autorickshaw, which was sporting 4 scholars of Adam School, overturned near Gopalnagar Society in Pandesara, police mentioned. The deceased was recognized as Gaurav Raju Prajapati.
Kamlchandra Maurya was driving the autorickshaw recklessly. Gaurav was sitting on the aspect of the autorickshaw and were given beaten to death when it overturned and hit the street.
The other two scholars, including Gaurav’s brother, within the vehicle suffered minor accidents and were discharged after remedy in New Civil Hospital (NCH). One kid escaped unharmed.
Police mentioned the driving force takes six youngsters in his autorickshaw to college daily from their houses situated in Pandesara. Two youngsters were absent on Friday. Police mentioned the driving force took all the youngsters to NCH after the coincidence, but then disappeared fearing getting crushed up via folks.
A police officer of Pandesara police station mentioned, “CCTV pictures presentations that Maurya was driving the autorickshaw recklessly at 8am on an empty highway, and consequently it overturned to 1 aspect crushing to death a child. We have booked him under IPC section 304 A. It is an issue of investigation whether or not he was licensed to ferry youngsters to college.”
Gaurav’s final rites will carried out in Rajasthan. His folks have left with the frame to their native position within the neighbouring state.
