RAJKOT: Police have registered a non-cognizable offence after a four-day-old boy used to be allegedly branded by his grandmother in Khakhravel village close to Paddhari village close to Rajkot remaining week.
The boy used to be born to Lakshmi Singhla and her husband Indersinh on December 21.
The baby used to be discharged from the health center the same day, however didn't cross stool for four days. Seeing his abdomen continuously bloated, his grandmother Gajra branded him with some iron needle thinking that there used to be some gastric hassle.
The branding injuries, have been, alternatively, not severe.
However, when his father took him to the health center, docs found that the boy had issue passing stool.
The boy has been admitted to KT Children’s Hospital in the town and he's going to be operated upon on Wednesday.
