Ignou starts new PG environ course

Nagpur: Indira Gandhi National Open University (Ignou) has began a brand new postgraduate degree course in environmental and occupational well being for graduates with HSC in science.
The one-year programme offers a comprehensive concept of setting rules, occupational well being safety, agriculture, cattle pollution, business pollution, Ignou regional director P Sivaswaroop stated.

He stated the course can be available to students from January consultation. The director stated admissions to other regular classes too will start from subsequent month. The last date for utility is January 15.

Sivaswaroop stated all of the process can be online, right from filling bureaucracy to paying the fee. For the advantage of students not having access to internet, a memorandum of understanding has been signed with CSRC to help such candidates. The price for SC/ST candidates can be reimbursed for BPP, BA, BCom and BSc classes.


He stated on December 27, the regional centre held its Gyan Ganga initiative at Korchi and Nandali villages in Gadchiroli.


Assistant coordinator Shyam Koreti exhorted native students of Vanashri Arts and Science College to hone new abilities via Ignou classes.


Sivaswaroop stated the far off district students don't need to fear about getting training as Gyan Ganga will deliver it at their doorstep.
