HYDERABAD: Former Indian cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin, appointed as running president of Congress (Telangana unit) on Thursday, mentioned that Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrashekhar Rao should apologise for his feedback made towards a youth who wondered him about 12% reservation for Muslims.
“The one who asked him the query was his celebration worker, he simplest asked the CM what was promised to him. The incident is gloomy and disturbing,” mentioned the newly appointed running president who is the one running president belonging to Muslin group.
Rao lost his cool when a Muslim youth attending his meeting in Kagaznagar wondered him about 12% reservation promised to his group.
Azharuddin also expressed his interest to contest from Secunderabad parliament seat. When TOI wondered why is he showing interest in Secunderabad over Hyderabad parliament he mentioned that he's a resident of Secunderabad and needs to serve other people of that house as an elected consultant.
