PUNE: Superintendent of Pune rural police Sandeep Patil on Monday mentioned the state executive had authorized deployment of 5,000 security body of workers for maintaining regulation and order during the 201st anniversary of the battle of Koregaon Bhima on January 1 next year.

“We have proposed whole lot of preparations, together with deployment of water tankers, and video and drone cameras, for the meeting. We have proposed a budgetary allocation of Rs2 crore for the preparations. The executive has assured us the same,” mentioned the collector.
Ram mentioned he had carried out eight to 9 conferences until date. He could be preserving extra conferences ahead of the development. He claimed that the coordination between the Pune rural police and the district administration was once very easy.
The district administration has sought just about 135 buses, a complete of 11 drone cameras and 11 parking stands besides other paraphernalia.
