Minor girl raped in shed, 19 year old arrested

Locals rescued a 13-year-old woman from an deserted shed in an empty plot the place she used to be raped through a 19-year-old neighbour of hers. The rapist and the crowd of boys he used to be with managed to push past the mob; alternatively he used to be later apprehended through the locals, beaten up significantly and passed over to the police.

According to the grievance filed through the woman’s mother, the kid had gone out at round 2pm to photocopy magnificence notes. On her option to the photocopy retailer in Chandra Layout, Naveen Kumar and a couple of buddies of his stopped her. He requested her to accompany him and when she refused, they forcibly took her to an empty web page on 7th cross, Balaji Layout in Chandra Layout and locked her in a shed.

The woman begged him to let her go however Naveen instructed her she had to cooperate with him. When the woman attempted to escape, he threatened to kill her mother and younger brother. She used to be stripped naked and raped through Naveen. Hearing her screams, a few girls and a man who used to be passing during the empty web page rushed to the shed.

They banged on the door, looking to get the men inside to open it.

Naveen got dressed, instructed the woman he’d kill her mother and brother if she instructed the general public what had happened inside and rushed out. The crew of boys managed to push past the offended locals and escaped.

Soon word had spread in the neighbourhood and people managed to get the woman again house at round 3.30 pm. She instructed her uncle what had happened. Upon listening to in regards to the incident, her uncle, his buddies and neighbours searched for the crowd and located Naveen Kumar in Moodalapalya. They beat him black and blue before handing him over to Chandra Layout police.

“She had borrowed Rs 20 from me to get the photocopies. But she returned house abused. Naveen used to stick in our area and the family not too long ago moved away to some other neighbourhood. There have been a couple of others with Naveen when the incident happened, however they've been let off as a result of they are minors,” said the woman’s uncle.
However, Chandra Layout police said, “According to the statement given through the woman, only Naveen had abused her. So, we arrested Naveen.”

Both the woman and Naveen have been subjected to scientific exams that confirmed the rape.

Ravi D V Channanavar, Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) said, “We have taken up the case towards Naveen, a vagabond, under POCSO Act and IPC phase 376 (rape) as well as other sections. We are investigating into the matter.”
