MUMBAI: A 38-year-old Virar guy has been sentenced to life in jail for banging his infant daughter's head on the ground, resulting in her demise, 3 years in the past. Vasai district court additional classes judge S R Vadali also imposed a tremendous of Rs 10,000 on the convicted guy, Tushar Shoujani.
Shoujani lived in Manvelpada, Virar (east), with his wife and 13-month-old daughter Harsita. He used to be jobless and there have been common fights with his wife.
In September 2015, Shoujani's wife returned to her oldsters home within reach and took along their daughter. On September 29, 2015, round 6 pm, Shoujani went over to meet his wife, who refused to go back till he were given a role.
Shoujani then lifted Harsita through her legs and banged her head on the ground.
