Old woman gets trapped in cage placed for leopards in Tapi district

Surat: A 65-year-old woman was once pressured to spend a cold winter evening in the cage supposed for leopards which she had entered by means of mistake close to her village in Tapi district on Wednesday. Kamli Khusal Chaudhary had long past to a dispensary for remedy of an ailment and when the doctor said he must give an injection to her, she left for house in Bhanwadi village and by means of mistake entered and were given trapped in the cage which was once kept on option to catch leopards.

Her son-in-law Devsang Chaudhary said Kamli was once having ache in her joints and so he had taken her to the dispensary on his motorcycle on Wednesday. However, he had some work and so left early from there.

Meanwhile, a cage was once positioned by means of forest department at Lotarva village from the place a leopard was once caught a couple of days ago. Forest officers suspected there was once another leopard in the house and sought after to entice it too. One has to go via Lotarva village to visit Bhanwadi village. Tapi district collector MK Damor said, “We are aware concerning the incident. It occurred at round 11pm and due to this fact nobody spotted her. However, she survived the ordeal and is now okay.”
