Vadodara: A 32-year-old girl was murdered by her husband within the Charsa village of Virpur taluka in Mahisagar district on Thursday night. The husband later consumed poison and then he was rushed to a health center.
An offence registered at the Virpur police station late on Thursday night states that the lady Leela Chauhan (32), and her husband Kanti Chauhan, had a quarrel late within the night time at the same day. Kanti allegedly hit the lady with a sharp-edged weapon on her head.
The girl was rushed to a health center, however was declared useless. Kanti was rushed to Vadodara after primary treatment at a health center in Virpur.tnn
