VARANASI: Ghazipur police arrested 16 folks in reference to the killing of a police constable on December 29, taking the total selection of arrests to 27 up to now. The administration may even invoke provisions of the National Security Act (NSA) in opposition to the primary accused.
Constable Suresh Vats was killed in stone pelting via Rashtriya Nishad Party supporters. “16 folks were arrested on Monday. Police has also named 80 unidentified persons in the FIR,” SP Ghazipur Yashvir Singh told TOI on Monday. IG Varanasi range Vijay Singh Meena stated orders were issued to invoke NSA in opposition to the accused immediately all for attacking cops or main the mob.
