Vadodara: Nearly 33,515 applicants appeared for Lok Rakshak Dal (LRD) exam that handed off smoothly at 132 exam centres within the city on Sunday. Arrangements for the LRD exam were made at 1,492 exam blocks for which town was once divided into two zones – together with zone I comprising of 69 exam centres and zone II comprising of 63 exam centres.
Police had to make additional preparations to be sure that the applicants don’t face any problems in reaching the exam centres because of Vadodara International Marathon (VIM).
A total of 44,760 applicants had registered for the exam which was once carried out at the school constructions under strict CCTV surveillance and tight police vigil.
